@bikepedantic what is going on here? it looks like the bike lane is right next to the curb, but also there are parking meters right next to the curb too

@high_cube bikelane is curbside, off-hours parking allowed in the bus lane, the two are normally separated by a row of flexposts

@bikepedantic man, there's a lot going on there. curbside parking meters are actually for parking spots in the bus lane!

@bikepedantic Out here flex posts are broken off by yahoos in pickups in short order, so the situation is identical to your video even if they were installed

@bikepedantic we have the stout little K71 types. Shown here being used to keep cars from going around speed bumps - essentially traffic calming. Also, because of the debris in the bike lane, cyclists are forced into traffic.

@footsteps those K71s are interesting little beasts. I've always described 'em as flexposts in a bollard costume.
