Last week I explained to my father-in-law why EV‘s do not give us a green new deal. Anything that puts more cars on the road is good for capitalism, and is not ecological. Even when the car is electric. Investing in the commons with public transportation infrastructure supports a green new deal. He hadn’t thought about it that way, but he got it :)
