I love my everyday, but especially on cold foggy mornings when I feel like crap but still gotta do the .
Mornings like today would be near impossible without .

@DrTCombs we're about to have our second child and are very excited to test ride a kid hauling e-bike this spring. There's something special about being on the bike path early in the morning.

@radioamor Early morning bike rides with the kids are awesome. Even when it's cold and rainy and I feel like crap. I wouldn't change it for the world.

@DrTCombs I like that I don’t have to be in the mood to bike. I’m happy to let the bike do most of the work on lazy mornings.

Being able to "cheat" is exactly the appeal of Ebikes, imo.
Which is why I hate that narrative.
I'm not racing anyone, I'm going to the store and back.
The bicycle as only a leisure machine is so ingrained in the states and I hate it.
Mine has a throttle but even on lazy days where I tell myself I'm too tired to pedal, I still wind up doing so, burning calories instead of fossil fuels.
My ebike has already paid for itself by replacing ~90% of what used to be taxi or rideshare trips.
