Ok #history buffs. What is this thing we found in our yard?
Context: our neighborhood was built in the 1940s. The area was a Union Army bivouac site during the Civil War. We routinely find random metal things in the yard from the construction of the neighborhood. But this seems a good bit older and more worn. It's almost 4" long.
Google thinks it's a Roman tent peg, but given that we're in central NC, I'm not convinced...
