I have never been to Ames, IA, Plainfield, NJ, or Longmont, CO. Seeing them on this list, I'd like to!
But I can say with certainty that I would rather ride a bicycle in Cambridge MA.
@bikepedantic big ol grain of salt if Ankeny is on a list this high. Excellent rail trail. Otherwise a couple of glorified sidewalks masquerading as separated bike lanes

(I am somewhat doubtful of our high ranking here, particularly because of stalled efforts statewide, but I’m an entrenched critic of our bike ped efforts and I’m fairly certain I can’t be an effective judge because of that fact. Who knows maybe an outsider would judge differently.)
