I was having a rough grief day yesterday. So I took the afternoon off, went to sit on a park bench along the trail.
I got a dose of nature, outdoors, great people-watching, did some reflection and crying.
A neighbor rolled by, saw my puffy red eyes. We chatted, I got a hug.
Cities, and many of the people who live in them, are awesome.
@bikepedantic conversely, I love that I can be sobbing on the Metro with sunglasses on and people will leave me alone. Yay, cities!
