I have a good job, working on things I care about, usually i like it, and occasionally think i'm making a difference. But it's also likely the last job that I'll ever have, and that's a bit depressing to me today.
@bikepedantic some days that sounds nice to me. I expected to be in the same place my entire career but it didn't work out. My sister is hitting 27 years in the same dept/org and has just interviewed elsewhere for the first time that I can remember. She is thinking about changing, but is also in a job with an actual pension and 7 years out from the 100% collection rate.
