Thousands of cities, maybe more, scrambled to create safe, public, outdoor space for #walking, #biking, socializing, and conducting commerce. Some of these were huge successes. Some were flops. All of them, however, hold critically important lessons for how we think about, plan for, design, allocate, manage, and enforce the use of public space. There is an entire new body of knowledge hiding in the experiences and observations of these cities and the people who live and work in them. (2)
Please help us make sure this body of knowledge doesn't get lost as we try to put this pandemic in our rear view. If you & your community have a story to tell us about how the pandemic changed your approach to #transport, #mobility, or public space, we want to hear it.
