The sun will be almost 50% covered when our local elementary schools are letting out. We're going to have crazy cool light out.
If you're driving, please remember that your primary job is to not hit anyone, ok? Wait until you get home to stare at the sun.

@DrTCombs schools where I am (on the edge of totality) have the day off today (they moved a PA day from May to now).

@nxskok we're going to be 80% obscured but no day off, no early dismissal, no fun at all.

@DrTCombs cloudy here, so didn't get to see the sun at all, but it did get rather eerily dark, like at sunset.

@nxskok we had clear skies but very dawn-like light. It was awesome, and totally fooled all the birds.
