@DrTCombs

Are people ready to think of a ways of living where their survival is not so dependent on fossil fuels?

And I'd been thinking of how long it took to recover Puerto Rico's grid I think that was well over a year.

And another hurricane looks to be spinning up in the gulf.

Though at least it's going gulf to atlantic over florida, so it's not as likely to impact the carolina's. But more areas will get wrecked making it harder and harder to find resources for rebuilding to the standards of the infrastructure heavy American 20th century.

@DrTCombs the whole length of the Blue Ridge Parrkway, heavy damage, catastrophic in some spots. Oh my memories of vacations with my sister, driving the parkway, stopping for meandering walks with the kids, heading to Blowing Rock and visiting the beautiful stores. Millions and millions of dollars to rebuild. Unbelievable. Gas and oil companies lied and lied, knew what was ahead since the 70’s. They must be sued and forced to pay reparations for the disasters they have created.💔
