@bikepedantic I was surprised to see the Onion have that, as well. Then again, so does the WaPo, NYT, CNN, and others. It all does make me wonder if Elon's playing games with that tag the same way he is with the blue checks.
@kcivey @bikepedantic Yeah - I remember seeing that they (Twitter) would give it away for free to the top 10,000 organizations by follower count, but who knows what they actually ended up doing. I doubt they even know...
anyway, i was as disappointed to see that particular gold star as i would be seeing a red baseball cap at a Planned Parenthood fundraiser
