Bikes depreciate more than cars. Lots of reasons, but they just do. Even more so, accessories that you tack onto your new bike. Sad but true.

@eRileyKc @bikepedantic LOL! I keep thinking I can sell my used Tern GSD S10 (Gen 1 with upgraded seatpost, rack, bags etc) for $3600. Maybe not?
@bikepedantic When you're spending 10x or 100x less, does it really even matter?
@bikepedantic I actually think the opposite, but I generally buy used bikes… i think a steel road bike can be bought and ridden and sold for $200 repeatedly on Craigslist for 30 years
