Target promoting “bike up to the drive up” in a Facebook ad. But don’t read the comments.

@bikepedantic

I've thought that curbside pick up could be really useful for people on bikes.

As it avoids a lot of bikes weaknesses at securing stuff and the bike from thieves.

@alienghic @bikepedantic We do this at our neighborhood McDonald's far more often than I'd like. Works quite well!

@bikepedantic my wife and I do this a lot in the spring-fall. Got the cargo bike well set for it. We don’t even park in car spaces, just set up right outside the door. They use a side door to come out so not in any shoppers way.

@bikepedantic I am shuddering just thinking of the comments. Glad Target is showing this though.

@bikepedantic as a regular "bike up to the drive up"-er, feels nice to be seen lol

@szeis4cookie i do this weekly at my local grocery store, and it's always a nice moment of levity when the grocery worker comes out with a cart and sees my big goofy bike

@bikepedantic same - I know the curbside person at my local Kroger is new when I get the surprised Pikachu face
