@bikepedantic I feel this so deeply in my soul. Post-competitive rowing is just paddling with short bursts of ambition though!!
@bikepedantic I liked my old strength-to-weight ratio, that was fun. Kinda wish handhold climbing had been a thing back then.
@bikepedantic i was on a highschool rowing team and still have ergometer nightmares. Rowing was great but the winter "indoor regattas" using ergometers were as painful to participate in as they were to watch!
I was an extremely poor undergrad rower, rowed like twice in the 20+ years since, and have plummeted in fitness, but still nurture dreams of getting back to rowing someday
