Hey Camberville, salmon is $6.99 at Stop & Shop, and I only bought up like half of it.

“Bikes are fun, but I need something that I can throw $175 worth of groceries in.”

@bikepedantic Should've shopped at Market Basket, then you'd have to fit two extra bags if you want to spend that much 😉

@inliuofjoan @bikepedantic Right, but amortized cost. But also Market Basket on weekend has been described as a "mosh pit" so if you're shopping on weekends maybe not worth it.

@itamarst @inliuofjoan single dad, can order groceries online and have em picked by union workers, and pick them up five minutes away, I’m pretty comfortable with my grocery decisionmaking

@bikepedantic @itamarst whenever I stop by the local stop and shop, I'm always pleasantly surprised by the lower-than-expected prices. They just tend to be out of stock of things often, and that robot seems to follow me around.

@bikepedantic Sorry, didn't mean that as criticism, more like a way to enhance your cargo bike bragging even more.

@bikepedantic @inliuofjoan @itamarst union or not, the employees at my local S&S seem miserable compared to those at my local MB. The latter is also consistently 10-20% cheaper, with better selection and quality.
