I think there’s a bit of subtle sexism in the jokes that Linda Yaccarino is just white-knuckling her way through all the turmoil. Women are capable of colossally damaging hubris too.
@bikepedantic everything I’ve heard her say has a strong teeth-gritting “I have made a terrible mistake” undertone. Which is understandable.
@wordshaper @bikepedantic There’s the glass cliff, and then there’s the women who willingly throw themselves off of it thinking someone will catch them before they hit bottom.

@bikepedantic Haven't paid much attention to her background, but it's exceedingly unlikely that a successful US woman executive lacks skills in handling flaky superiors. She could easily have a plan. Might be a long-shot, though.
