Another nice thing about the cheaper e-cargobike offerings like Aventon & Lectric is that some are beginning to pop up in the secondhand market.

Got the Black Friday deal, about a grand off the original price with ALL the accessories thrown in for free. $1,600 all in.
Not light (80 lb with no load??) and it rides more like a slow motorcycle than a bicycle. It also hasn’t a slack enough head tube angle and/or not enough trail, so it wants to oversteer into corners a bit and wobbles without two hands on the bars.
But it gets me and a lot of stuff where we need to go, without breaking the bank or much of a sweat. I regularly beat car traffic from here to the local stores and back.
Adding bar end mirrors made riding in traffic bearable.
@bikepedantic i was just thinking about how it might be time to switch from my radpower cargo bike to something a bit lighter. :)
