@bikepedantic Cool. I am sorry I missed it, but I am going to get to see a total eclipse for the first (and with high probability, only) time in my life. I had intended to bring my 4 five-gallon crash-test-dummy "children" so people could get some experience handling loaded bikes w/o worrying so much about the load. (At the previous one someone just popped their kids on a bike, first time ever with a loaded longtail, and it was a little worrying. You learn, but that implies starting unskilled).
