@bikepedantic I certainly hope not. Chevron proved that even SCOTUS – at least in 1984 – understood the value of expert interpretation. More importantly they understood the value of a professional civil service corps of federal employees.

It is far too common for the general public to devalue the important work delivered by our bureaucratic civil servants, but I truly hope the court doesn’t do the same.
