It all just seems so amateurish and slapdash that only amateur orgs pay. "Move fast and break stuff" breaks trust and goodwill. What serious org would publicly get on board with something so slapdash?

Thrilled to see DPW quickly replace the street tree that some dumbass driver cracked in half on my street, and doubly thrilled to see that it’s a yoshino cherry
In the meantime, I’ll be flushing thousands of dollars a year to maintain the ability to drive to and through freakin Waltham if necessary
I said it before, I’ll say it again, with extra emphasis now that I’m a single parent: I could easily go car-free if we sorted out childcare in a way that doesn’t demand that every family design your own childcare program to cover aftercare, random off-days, random whole weeks, and oh one entire f*cking season.
Thank god, we somehow made it through the spring break patchwork week of childcare.
