As disappointed as I am to lose Councillor Alanna Mallon from the Council (which is very!), I am about 3x as excited to have Councillor Dennis Carlone elect to not run for re-election.
Carlone has absolutely been the most openly gross about his opposition to housing people if the buildings don't meet his personal design aesthetics; he has actively worked alongside anti-housing forces to perpetuate lies and misinformation.
Him being gone is an absolute relief.
