It’s a little too on-the-nose that there are no cars in ‘The Good Place’

Work Zone Accommodation Failure, a play in three acts:

1. Truck parks in Somerville Community Path detour section,
2. While the on-site cop studies his phone,
3. So someone on a bike has to take the lane going uphill.

Step aside Urban Arrows and Tern GSDs, i think the Aventon Abound might be the new official Camberville family bike. Seeing them everywhere now.

Alt: Dear Peabody families and friends,

Welcome back to school! The Peabody/RAUC Bike Bus is operating every Friday, starting tomorrow!
What is a bike bus? A bike bus is a group of children who ride their scooter/bicycles together to school.  We have chosen a route that has very low car traffic, so that the children can ride as a group on the road. Volunteer parents lead the children and block the car traffic to allow the children to safely ride their bicycles and enjoy each others' company.

Cambridge Bike Safety is preparing for a major election this November and has a matching funds fundraiser that you should contribute to.

There are 2 councilor candidates running for 3 open seats that have sued the city to remove all bike lanes. We need all the help we can get to defend the Cycling Safety Ordinance and ensure Cambridge stays best in country at building a protected bike network.

Watching the Jeremy Bearimy episode, it’s even better than you remember

I was having a rough grief day yesterday. So I took the afternoon off, went to sit on a park bench along the trail.

I got a dose of nature, outdoors, great people-watching, did some reflection and crying.

A neighbor rolled by, saw my puffy red eyes. We chatted, I got a hug.

Cities, and many of the people who live in them, are awesome.

On today's CCTV Cambridge What's That About? a new public records request uncovers a host of problems with the DCR decision to close Riverbend Park on Saturdays, including evidence that State Rep. Marjorie Decker blatantly lied about her position. According to the records, our Rep was privately campaigning to close the park on Saturdays while publicly claiming the opposite. Full disclosure, I have a gross crush on the instructor on the Amazon video yoga courses i'm streaming, and i hope that she sees this testimonial.

Brief pause to sing the praises of yoga. Two weeks of consistent 15 minutes most days, lots of nagging pains are gone, and i'm running faster and without pain for the first time in forever.
