@jroper @charlesincities The case I saw for single stairwell buildings there was:
* Some countries that have them have lower fire death rates than the US* Mitigations like max number of floors, units and more fire-resistant materials like concrete * Balconies combined with fire departments with buckets and ladders to reach them.
