@DrTCombs earplugs?
@geoff_green oh i definitely never though of that
@DrTCombs the $100 limit for *good* in ear noise cancelling headphones may be tough
@geoff_green @DrTCombs I've owned a couple of Soundcore true wireless earbuds, IMO more trouble than they're worth. A decent set of wired in-ear monitors, backed up with Comply memory foam tips will do wonders for noise attenuation. I have some on a pair of Status Audio IEM-2X wireless earbuds - great sound quality and very effective at shutting out the world esp while playing music https://www.complyfoam.com/
@geoff_green @DrTCombs I realized I didn't link my earbuds there and went to the Status Audio site to find that they've been discontinued. Just bought a pair of Tangzu Wan-er S.G. earbuds that are $20 and punch way above their weight, and come with six (!) ear tip options in the box. https://www.linsoul.com/products/tangzu-waner-s-g?_pos=3&_fid=6614a3d33&_ss=c&variant=43530411180249
@DrTCombs jbl live 300tws
My only criteria:
1. in-ear
2. REALLY GOOD noise cancelling
3. have cushy silicone thingies in a variety of sizes so they don't feel like oversized river rocks in my ear
4. under $100
I really don't care if they play music or have wires
