Hello all! Just saw from @bikepedantic that this place had been set up for mobility talk, and loving the idea of a dedicated instance.
#Introduction I'm based in London (UK), but I work for a startup based in Leuven (Belgium) called Telraam. We have a multi-modal traffic counting device designed for citizen science, and giving residents and campaigners more opportunities to be engaged and involved with local traffic and mobility plans that affect them.
Looking forward to hear about yr projects

Would be v interested in understanding your counter. We're wanting to access city and trail authority counters locally, not happened yet. Been thinking about setting some up. The city and authority have 12 counters that cost $17k plus set-up/install, far far beyond our budget as a volunteer and membership organization.

@rob_telraam As a transportation modeler for a Metropolitan Planning Organization together with Utah DOT, we are always looking to for more ways to count multi-modal users. I'm intrigued by your device that you say is low cost and can be placed in a window. I would be interested in learning more. Where can I find more info?
@bhereth how cool! Our site is telraam.net and you can check out some data stories on the blog, like this one about #schoolstreets

We're also building a modelling tool on top but still only in Dutch :)
