Piecing together a summer childcare plan where, so far, I have two (2) weeks so far where I can theoretically work a 40 hour week. I have three weeks where I have absolutely no childcare.

@bikepedantic Are you familiar with Steve & Kate? Lets you sign up as many days as you want, often as late as the day before, and if you prepay they will refund any unused days. Not cheap, but it's full day IIRC.
@itamarst i am, my kid doesn't dig it though, so i'm just planning on them for Hell Week (Aug 28 to Sep 1, when all the college kids are gone, but school hasn't started)

@femmeUTCD on the plus side, I think all of this year’s camps are bikeable for pickup and dropoff
@bikepedantic nice! One camp for us was south of Alexandria in Huntley Meadows and I don't see how we could make that happen and go into work. Not bike able for me because I value my life.
