LOOK what we saw on our #BikeToSchool this morning!
It was running toward the street when a car scared it away, but we got a really good look at it and its adorbs black feet.

Our route takes us past a large, undeveloped wetland corridor, so sightings like these are not uncommon. The animals seem more curious than scared of us on our bikes, and we can usually get a really good look until a car comes along.
My dream is to spot a bear here. We're not in bear country, but this wetland would make a handy migration corridor.
