Had to take vacation time from work in order to shower, do some grocery shopping, and take a jog. It’s downright dystopian that my ability to do this is a privilege.
@bikepedantic yes this. Telework days are my only opportunity to catch up on house and life maintenance stuff uninterrupted. But sometimes I take a day to fix something and do things I couldn't get accomplished on the weekend
@bikepedantic I’m tempted to respond with some platitude to make you feel better about the working parent life.
But I can’t, because that just sucks. I’m sorry you’re dealing with that.
