I'm old enough to remember when TDM (travel demand management) programs used to promote work-from-home policies.

Hey world: Has your local agency changed its attitudes and perceptions about the use of public in the wake of the ? Have you formalized this shift into new ?

If so, I'd *love* to hear from you. Please @ me or drop a reply below.

No one will leave twitter and never return because it goes down for an hour or the algo is unconsciously favoring cryptobros.

They will leave twitter because it gets boring, or unrewarding, or their audience has left.

WE HERE are a big part of the reason that people will continue leaving twitter.

No. No no no.

Tech friends - your platforms and tools do not engage. People do.

When you alienate people, or limit how they can engage, your platform changes and glitches only affect the margins.

Social media networks contract because people go elsewhere, or find better things to do. All the SRE in the world won't mean much if people just stop paying attention.

Hi Mastodon! I’m a brand new #PeerTube instance dedicated to #urbanism. I don't have much content right now; you can help! Let’s share videos to build more walkable, livable places. urbanists.video

@bikepedantic My goal for today is now to make the world just a few millishits better.

Here's a webinar on encouraging more solar panels over parking lots and along highway rights-of-way, a thing I don't care about.

But I do care about shade for people walking and biking, and have always wondered:

*Do the undersides of PV panels give off any absorbed heat?

*Would PV panel porticos over sidewalks/bike lanes/trails offer quality-of-trip benefits along with power generation?

Every time we drive, we make the world one millishit worse, and we should do it less.

Nothing puts me in quite a kinda mood like standing at our kid’s bus stop, and some driver decides to act out against the Alewife-closure traffic by blaring her horn right next to us.
